That’s What She Said Columbia provides a platform for the powerful voices of local women. We aim to create a space where we can celebrate our differences, while also discovering what brings us together - all through the power of storytelling.
In 2023, That’s What She Said Columbia joined the national movement of That’s What She Said. Since then, we’ve created annual shows bringing together over 600 people from across our community to celebrate the contributions of women in Columbia, while raising $4,785 for local charitable causes to date.
At That’s What She Said Columbia, we believe in the power of storytelling not only to inspire individuals but to effect positive change in our community. This mission extends beyond the stage and this year we are proudly partnering with Love Columbia to provide single moms with housing & utility support.
Love Columbia serves anyone in Columbia who is struggling to provide for their basic needs or improve their life and wants help to create a path forward. One in five Columbians live in poverty, and many struggle to make ends meet, find livable wage jobs, or safe, affordable housing. Many of the people we serve have nowhere else to turn. Often, they are under great stress and facing multiple challenges. Without intervention, many of their situations would become quite dire and result in a negative domino effect such as eviction leading to homelessness or unaffordable car repair leading to job loss. Everyone needs hope and someone to accompany them on their journey. When people in need contact us, we listen without judgment and partner with them to improve their lives.
By attending That's What She Said Columbia, you can join us in supporting their mission. Every ticket purchased contributes to building a stronger, more connected Columbia. We invite you to learn more and support Love Columbia in their mission.
Each year, our show takes place at the historic Missouri Theatre in downtown Columbia, Missouri (203 S 9th St, Columbia, MO 65211).
Join us on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 at 7:00 PM for a night of stories, community, and connection. You won’t want to miss it!
