Our Story
That’s What She Said Columbia provides a platform for the powerful voices of local women. We aim to create a space where we can celebrate our differences, while also discovering what brings us together - all through the power of storytelling.
In 2023, That’s What She Said Columbia joined the national movement of That’s What She Said. Since then, we’ve created annual shows bringing together over 700 people from across our community to celebrate the contributions of women in Columbia, while raising $11,530 for local charitable causes to date.

Missouri Girls Town
At That’s What She Said Columbia, we believe in the power of storytelling not only to inspire individuals but to effect positive change in our community. This mission extends beyond the stage and this year we are proudly partnering with Missouri Girls Town to support their work providing a supportive community where young women can heal from past trauma and establish a brighter future.
Missouri Girls Town's mission is to support youth and families by providing therapeutic services and education to empower them to reach their full potential. The caring staff at Missouri Girls Town provides a loving, family atmosphere for all the girls living in their community - something many of their clients have never experienced before coming to Missouri Girls Town. They offer these young ladies the tools to help them grow to adulthood, and teach them life skills that help prepare them to care for themselves and their families one day.
By attending That's What She Said Columbia, you can join us in supporting their mission and the girls and young women they serve. Every ticket purchased contributes to building a stronger, more connected Columbia. We invite you to learn more and support Missouri Girls Town in their mission.
Missouri Theatre
Each year, our show takes place at the historic Missouri Theatre in downtown Columbia, Missouri (203 S 9th St, Columbia, MO 65211).
